Front suspension snap S70 1998

I have a snap that occurs only when backing in and out of the driveway at an angle. If I'm barely moving, it won't happen. However at just a couple of MPH up, not necessarily concurrent with a bump, I get a sharp snap from the right side--sometimes. It sounds very much like two pieces of metal snapping past each other. Struts, anti-sway bar links, upper mounts and stops are all new. Could this be the sway bar itself? I remember once reading someplace that the anti-sway bar is a two piece affair, but I've never removed one and don't see a coupling. Perhaps failed center mounts allowing the bar to contact the frame?
Thx,
DS
