Re: Shocks ? S70 98

I agree with John O. My experience on the '92 940 is that the rear shocks were leaking and were replaced at ~105K miles and the front ones were a bit soft and replaced at 122K miles. They were still reasonably okay and I probably would have gone a bit longer but the car was in the shop for an A/C fix and it seemed a convenient time to do additional work. Bottom line is that I'm pretty impressed at the lifespan of these OEM shocks/struts.

BTW I used Monroes for the back (not OEM quality for sure, but cheap and all that the local parts store carried - I did it myself) and Boge for the front.
