Engine stalling as wagon comes to stop V70-XC70 2001

My 2001 V70 NON-TURBO wagon runs great,but today in order to keep the engine from stalling I have to put the automatic transmission selector to Neutral when I come to a stop or decelerate at slow speeds to keep the engine from stalling out,my idle drops below 500 rpm just before it stalls out.I have great engine power on the highway, but as soon as I slow up or stop the engine dies.I'm not getting any trouble codes or check engine light.PLEASE HELP ME !!!!!
