To be honest, I have no idea why it sends you there. The Vadis parts info lists the two in the same housing and puts its location as in the relay compartment as well as down where the fan relay is. Maybe the reason you can't figure it out is because the relays used to control the fan makes no sense?

Sounds like a typical electrical fix for me, try fixing/replacing everything it could be, but of course nothing fixes it. So I bang my head a few times end up working on something unrelated, fix that and somehow they're both fixed..
