Removing / replacing headlight WIPERS 850

I had the pleasure of doing this on the drivers side because my daughter had a very low speed accident at a stop light that knocked the headlight out as well as the wiper motor (pushed in and bent.)

Since I had to remove the broken headlight assembly I had easy access to the motor area. For what it is worth it was simple once you could get to the area. The motor lined up with two bolts coming from the front of the car. I had to unclip the old unit and washer fluid line and then reverse the install of the salvage unit. Even with a lot of the parts out of the area from the headlight being replaced, I still had to feel my way a bit to line everything up. It's not bad to do with the headlight out (as well as the battery).

If you have a pick and pull salvage yard in your area you can practice removing the part so that when you work on your car you've made your mistakes already. It takes a bit more time this way but you'll save money and learn for free. Good luck on the repair.
