Windows and outside mirrors do not move V70-XC70 1999

My 1999 V70 with 156k lost function of all power windows and both outside mirrors. The fuse in the fuse box, one of those big metal ones appears to be good. The window operating switches on the drivers door will flash light a bit but nothing will move. The door locks do work. When I felt the fuse for the windows while it was in the fuse box it was very hot and the plastic blow the switch was a bit melted.

I was thinking that it could be the switch assembly on the drivers side door, the expensive one.

Any help would be appreciated.
