Seinfeld drove a SAAB

Can a long-time Volvo owner be satisfied with the other Swedish brand? Ok, ok, I realize that the current crop of Saabs is not the same machine as it was before GM, but is that a bad thing? Back in the 90s a friend in LA had a 900 and it was always in the shop. It wasn't something she could EVER depend on (for a long trip) but the thought of getting rid of it was not something that ever crossed her mind. I couldn't figure out the fascination. Now that I've owned four different Volvo models, I get it!

Recently, a neighbor had a 2004 9-3, 2.0t for sale. Took it for a drive and loved how it handled. My current ride is a '95 850T and the feeling was very similar albeit a bit smoother.

I'm currently interested in a 2008 9-3 or 9-5 with a 4 cylinder.

If you own this brand, I would love to hear about your experiences and any maintenance issues, good or bad. Thanks.
