Cool! I scored a DeWalt circular saw from my mom and dad (in laws)! My wife almost got me a Makita, she gave me a card with a picture of one so instead she's got a back up powertool! Hum...
Yeah, I know what you mean about the garages, here we have two but they both get really cold, maybe just 15-25F warmer than outside. If it's above 0 then it might be enough to melt the fluid. The outside garage is really at ambient temp (no windchill though).
No, in NC there is some antifreeze in the wiper fluid because it's a good cleaner. I think it was seriously diluted from the factory because I don't remember using much in Europe... maybe in Germany... Wouldn't believe how many bees you nail at 120+mph. It's like salt in winter here. The front of the car was black and yellow by the time we got to Switzerland. Hell, beats mosquitos... for the most part they leave you alone when outside of the car.
We just got another light snow. We'll be going to Waussa to do some gift swapping with the stores :)
Oh about the washer fluid... I did get de-icer (Prestone). I was thinking of adding it on a warm day (like above 5). The only concern is that it's going to be so slushy in the tank that the de-icer won't get a chance to splash mix too well. I'll let you know what happens with it. What did you mean by Kasten motor?
