Re: Freeze warning dash light question V70-XC70 1998

Funny thing about those "bridge freezes before road" signs. Car & DRiver did an editorial on them. In the USA, we spent/spend LOTS of money (you can quote that figure) on these signs...

DON'T WE KNOW THAT BY NOW???? WHY DO WE NEED TO BE REMINDED EVERY SINGLE TIME WE APPROACH AN OVERPASS?

With the exception of the overpass that catches you off guard because you can't readily see it's an overpass (like is hte case with many on LI), why do we need these signs?

I will say this, the light came on while I had the trip computer set on MPG the other day. That I found helpful. If I'm not looking at temp guage, at least this thing says "HEY! It's cold out!"
