How to mount an OEM cargo cover V70-XC70 1999

I have a chance to snag a rear cargo cover for the V70. I have been told that it is an OEM cover, and pictures of the ends show a pretty featureless surface, almost like it is meant to fit into some indentation on either side so as to be lifted out easily. I have no such indentations on my sides, nor do I have any indents for the pull out to hook.



Is there a way to attach this cover?
