Any Hypermilers Out There?

#1, not all mpg figures you see on this or any other site can be believed.
#2, a 2.3-2.5L engine is not an economic marvel.
#3, any owner of an AWD vehicle is not going to win any mileage contest.
#4, tire design can add/subtract 3-4 mpg.
#5, cold weather and mpg do not mix.
#6, most Volvos are 4200-4400 lbs, without driver weight addded.

Best bet to get good mileage? Keep the engine and drive train in very good condition and consolidate trips. If you have a long commute, consider finding a used Honda CRX FE, or an older Insight that gets 70mpg on the highway.
