Any Hypermilers Out There?

I understand the issues and thank you for taking time to respond . . .

If Volvo certified their European "DRIVe" diesel models for the US market, do you think they would sell? A 72mpg Volvo S40 diesel, even if it "only" achieved 50-60mpg in a US version, would SURELY arouse some interest . . . right?
