Re: steering S40-V40 2000

Haven't noticed that on either my S40 or V40, but I would guess that perhaps your tires are reacting to the colder weather and giving you less 'direct' steering response.

Otherwise perhaps the tires are getting more flexible now they have been used for a while, also reducing steering response because of more sidewall flex.

I guess tire pressure is still the same?

If you really start to get a lot of free play in the center then I guess a visit to the dealer may be in order.
