all lights work, car won't start S70 1998

Hi all,

A few months ago I had a problem when starting my car I was hearing a weird electrical noise.. It went away after a while and I was driving my car fine.. Last night I go to start it and nothing..not a crank or anything.. I turn the key and all the lights go on the dashboard, every single one.. the radio works, all the lights work, blinkers, headlights, clock went back to 12:00.. the car makes a weird electric humm and that is it,, wont turn over or try to start,, dead....

What is it? I thought it was the shift lock but it is not....

My neverending struggle with Bjorn.. always something
