XC Chain follow up V70-XC70 1999

XC chain follow up: I went to an auto parts store that carried Shur Grip Z chains by SCC and installed them in the parking lot to ensure fit before purchasing--there seems to be quite adequate clearance, which is the issue that Volvo raised about not using anything but their $320 system. While I've not taken a real close look at a V70R to check for clearance, it does seem to that there could be a problem installing "normal" chains on that model.
