850R service reset, wiper problem, belt change 850 97

I bought this 850R wagon October 99 with 24,000 miles for my wife. She reluctantly lets me drive it occasionally(usually when it needs oil change, wash, or other work) The car runs flawlessly and is very strong. Was not familiar with the R cars but have grown to appreciate them very much. Especially when dusting down some smart a** neon light kit equipped kid at a traffic light.

My questions are:

1) Any way to reset the service indicator light without a reset tool?

2) Left side wiper blade not cleaning 1/3 of window. Blade(not arm) has been replaced with no improvement. Is there a fix for this?

3) How difficult is the timing belt. I have replaced numerous belts on BMW's and one Nissan Maxima. Is this better left to the dealer?
