Radiator hoses 850

Is it typical for heater cores or even radiator/heater hoses to go on 850's? The hoses appear to be high quality. I'm replacing them simply because I don't know if they are original or not.

I seemed to lose most of the coolant after a recent 500+ mile trip to N.H. For the first time the other day I smelled coolant. Very slight odor. It was in the vicinity of the overflow bottle so I'll focus my search there. There is a little dampness where the lower rad hose attaches to the radiator but it appears to be coming from the cooling line attachment.

Guess I'll start by replacing the cap....:)
