Serpentine belt, 855T, Conti 6 PK 1743 850 1995

Wow. That was a piece of cake. Belt replaced in 20 minutes. For a tensioner tool I used the locking bar of my Craftsman tool chest. Perfect fit, perfect length. To lock the tensioner a hex key does the trick.

The Conti 6PK 1743 goes on perfectly and is not too tight with the new routing. The tensioner releases and swings about 1 1/2".

Lift the coolant recovery tank and unplug the coolant level connector. Set it aside. Remove the ECU cooling duct. I have hands like hams and there was no shortage of space after that.

Piece of mind restored for the family campout this weekend, a 500 mile round trip.

Hope it helps someone else.
