This error is because there is a CD stuck in the mechanism. First, if you can, eject the CD magazine. Remove all CDs and re-insert empty magazine. The changer will then purge itself. Once done remove the magazine and CD (if one comes out). Replace the CD's and put magazine back in changer. All of which should be done with ignition off.

If the magazine will not eject, you will need a piece of cardboard about .040" thick and 3" wide. Make it so it is about 7" long. I found that the cardboard from a legal pad backing or similar works great. (once cut to size) Insert the cardboard into the center of the gap between the magazine and changer. (This is done on the bottom of the magazine.) Push foward a few inches and then the magazine will eject. Remove cardboard and keep in glove box in case you need it again. Then continue with the directions above.
