What cam tool.? S40-V40

The 850 Haynes manual has a good description of how to build a tool to lock the cams in place from the opposite side. You pull the CPS and distributor and the back ends of the cam are exposed, and they are slotted to accept a locking tool for procedures such as the one you're attempting.

Not sure how similar the engine in your car is to the 850 5 cyl...
