2000 V70 hesitation V70-XC70

I will clean the air mass sensor and see what happens. I can get a new one for $173 from FCP and a used ETM ( latest version with yellow sticker)for %175. My car has the software upgrade for the ETM. I also can get a new one from XeMODeX
for $550. Supposed to be better than OEM part. They say the part is a drop in and does not have to be installed by the dealer. Has anyone had experience with the XeMODex part?
