Yet Another TRACS Question 850 1995

Happy New Year Everybody! I know most of you already celebrated it but in NY it came less than an hour ago.

We had a lot of snow in NY yesterday and today I was digging out my Volvo. Tough job, those who did it know. I was spinning wheels a lot, TRACS was ON, of course, and worked relatively well. After 5 minutes of almost constant TRACS use it stopped working. No alarms or lights. The TRACS LED on the button was still ON. After turning engine OFF and ON, it started working again. I repeated this 3 times till I got out of my snow den. Everything worked fine after that, ABS and TRACS.

Anybody experienced the same? Just curious - is this a normal computer behavior or some sort of failure? I did not check for codes yet.

BTW, Winter mode, TRACS etc. are all good, but with my front wheels on ice and rear wheels deep in snow I missed stick shift.

Yuri
