How many Volvo VADIS disk versions are there? S40-V40 2010

I recently purchased a 2009 Volvo S40. As a reference guide, I purchased the Haynes UK repair manual from IPD which covers basic repairs on 2004-2007 models. Unfortunately, the Haynes UK manual does not document any of the VADIS error codes. Several posts on BrickBoard and other Volvo sites recommend downloading VADIS CDs from the Internet or purchasing them from eBay. However, I have found several DIFFERENT versions of VADIS software. Which is the best for a 2009 Volvo S40?

For example, take a look at this recent eBay search for the term "volvo vadis":
http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=volvo+vadis&_sacat=See-All-Categories

As of today 2011/04/02, I found 17 listings. Some are for individual VADIS 2010 A, B, C, or D discs. Other are selling a 2-CD set that covers up to year 2007 vehicles. What is the difference in these VADIS versions? Do the A/B/C/D disks expire after a certain date? I am trying to find more info on the VADIS 2010A CD with VCT2000 (OBDII Code Reader) support. What have you BrickBoard readers personally used to diagnose your late-model Volvos?
