Yellow Lable ETM Throttle Body 1999 V70-XC70

I am going to clean the ETM Throttle body on my 99 V70, and if that doesnt correct the occasional hesitation, I am going to replace it with one of 2 other units I have. My question is what does the yellow label mean as far as the cars computer? I have one without a label and one with a yellow label. The car was into Volvo for the ETM recoding only a short while ago while it was still with the previous owner. They did not affix a label to the throttle body. I read somewhere that the yellow lable TB can only be installed by a dealer as it needs programming to make it work? Is this true? And if not true which is the better unit to install?
