OBD-II should work .... 850 1997

does the Eco ride actually read the current total vehicle miles, not just the mileage? I've got a scantool, which does not read the odometer miles from the computer. Mechanics I've asked say the volvo data protocol and s/w cost so much that only the dealers spend the money to have a reader able to extract some of the computers details, like the more detailed repair/health codes. (I have the broken odometer problem also, and one of these days I'll get the mileage read and then fix the little gear). But I doubt you'll get the total vehicle miles from an OBD-II reader.
