Dave,

Let your OBD do the work for you! Start reading code/codes (if any) at both A2 Fuel and A6 Ignition. You can then narrow down the cause to either fuel or ignition and go from there. Personally (and not knowing your maintenance history) I would think fuel...has your fuel filter ever been changed? Injectors cleaned? Bad gas purchased at your non-regular station? Are you in a cold climate and need gas-line antifreeze (condensation)?
