Where can I get an in-line fuel line check valve? 850 1999

Jadnhm

Thank you for your reply. I went to FCP's web site and looked at the check valve. The clerk is going to pull one off the shelf and measure its internal and exterior diameters of both openings of the check valve and get back to me.

Prior to contacting FCP, I put a call into iPd to see if it sold a universal check valve. The clerk told me to be careful about installing a check valve so as to avoid a leak. He said the fuel line on the 1999 Cross Country has a psi of about 80 lbs. Putting simple hose clamps on each side of the in line check vavle many not be enough to withstand the pressure. In the process of fixing one problem, I may create another: a fuel leak.

The check valve you referred to has different sized openings. Exactly what type of clamp or coupling, if you know, would I have to use to makse sure this in line filter doesn't leak? I noticed this in-line filter was designed to screw directly into the fuel pump, and has a threated end which I assume screws directly into a fuel line.

Jadnhm, thanks for your help.

Hugh
