ABS Light XC90 2004

Well, it seems this is my month for issues with the XC90. About a month ago a drunk ran a red light and hit my wife on the right front. Repairs required a new fender, headlight, washer fluid resovior and control arm. Repaired and thought everything was fine, however yesterday I got a message saying the anti skid needs servicing and today the abs light came on a couple of times for a couple of seconds. I understand there is an abs sensor located in the right front and am wondering if there is anyway to check this out short of having the dealer get involved. Oh yes, it was not a volvo shop that did the repairs but rather a friend who has owned a body shop for years-

Hoping it is the sensor and not the abs unit.
