1998 S70 Stalling with no code. Most likely vacuum leak. Darnit. S70 1998

If there was an EVAP leak it should manifest as an gross vacuum leak, and set a code as such.

Vacuum leak in general I wouldn't think would cause the stalling with such repeatability.

Have you pulled out a plug when it stalls out to see what it looks like?
Also, when it is stalling, does flooring the pedal do anything?

Let me make sure I understand whats going on:

You start the car, if you're going sub-highway speeds it stalls out.
If you're going highway it sputters, but usually doesn't die.
2-5 minutes later the car is OK to run, and has no problems until you let it sit and cool.

One last random question, how old are your plug wires?

If you're not driving it "like its stolen," are you really driving?
