1998 S70 Stalling with no code. Most likely vacuum leak. Darnit. S70 1998

well, a few weeks back I was having issues when right about the time it got hot, it'd stall when it'd go into third if I was accelerating normally. Flooring it, causing the downshift helped me out, then one rainy day it was bad at idle too. Found out my #3 plug wire had cracked at the boot. Replaced them and it's all good.

Of course, I figured it was the transmission. Would have torn the car apart finding something that didn't exist had it not rained before I had the time to investigate the problem...

If you're not driving it "like its stolen," are you really driving?
