Re: starting in gear S70 1998

My 1998 S70 starts in gear as well. I actually was surprised when an '89 Honda civic I bought new (my first new car) had the clutch interlock. I have never seen this before and I ALSWAYS owned stick shifts (old ones). Believe me, pressing the clutch in during starter cranking is a VERY good habit anyway. Clutch interlock is another US-only "safety" feature, just like the warning on McDonalds' coffee cups that suggests that the contents should not be spilt on crotch.

Enjoy the car, I enjoy mine a lot.
