Re: Windshield Washers/Antifreeze V70-XC70 1998AWD

Your windshield washer problem is well known and is due to a defective check valve. Mine also leaked all over the engine compartment. This is a warranty item and you can be sure your dealer has lots of check valves in stock. Get it replace and you'll be fine.

I just changed my coolant and I used the Volvo stuff. Nice color blue and $15.95. Emptying the radiator via the drain on it and the block via its own drain on the rear of the block/passenger side, allowed for about 1 gallon of 50/50 mixture to be replaced. Use the genuine Volvo stuff. Is it worth possible waranty squabbles later on to save $10?

Doug
