Suspension Noise Fixed... 850 1994

Hello all and thanks to everyone who gave me advice about how to solve the suspension noise. My car use to make a rubbing sound when you would drive over uneven surfaces, along with a clunk. It took a new sway bar end link, bearing arrangement, and shock to fix the problem. It so far has made a huge improvement in the handling of the car and completely eliminated the noise. Basically the entire right side suspension was loose.

Does the dealer loose money when they are dealing with people with the VIP warranty? The reason I ask is that I took the car to the dealer many times asking them about the noise and they insisted that it was just something rubbing in the engine compartment and VIP didn't cover problems like that. So I finally took the car to an independent shop and the mechanic who rode with me knew what the problem was even before we left the shops parking lot!!! I'm just wondering if the dealer gets more incentive to not fix problems under the VIP warranty, you would think they wouldn't, they get the money either way.... Any thoughts?
