Re: Help with 850 850 1994

1. Check out the following web site: http://vsr.cjb.net/

2. I have had my 94 850 Turbo since 10/93. One of the first off the boat. It now has 86K miles on it. Over the years I have had the car, I budget $1000 a year for repairs(including tires 205 55 16's) and maint.

Type of problems/repairs I have had:

Radiator

Camshaft position sensor

O2 sensors (three times)

Knock sensors (twice)

Brake position sensor

Driver seat adjustment cable

Radio antenna

Brake rotors (all, once)

Brake pads (twice)

Thermostat

Trunk supports

Ball joint

Dash lights (not a simple fix) to see check out - www.volvospeed.com

I have not had any transmission or AC problems (knock on wood). Every year for the past three years I have had my mech. flush the transmission fluid. I change the oil every 3000 miles.

I, like many other Volvo owners, love their cars but, would never recommend one to a friend. One last note, the only upgrade I have done is a IPD ECU. It was money well spent.

Good Luck
