Thanks and one more question.... 850 1996

Hi all! Thanks so much to all those who took the time to read my posting

and sent me their advice and opinions. I am grateful to you all.

Just one more question - now that we are into the new year does the blue

book value drop ? I called a Volvo dealer to enquire about a Volvo that

they had for sale and he said that they had dropped the price by a grand

on the car. This was Volvo certified vehicle with a "sticker price only,

no negotiating" kind of deal. Do you think that the price drop was because

of the depreciation or because of some other reason ? I know it sounds

foolish to ask this question but who knows - I have seen stranger things and so I would like to know from anyone on this issue. I am all ready to ink the paper on this '96 850 turbo and would like to know if I may get hit

by the annual depreciation just because I am buying it a week into the new

year. If so, then I want to re-negotiate the price.

Thanks once again and wish all the readers and contributors to this forum

a wonderful new year.

Kdar
