Certified Pre-owned Warranty V70-XC70 2006

I am considering a used V70 T5 2006 with a CPO Warranty from a private seller. The seller does not have any paper work for the CPO Warranty. I got the VIN and checked with Volvo. It does have the warranty and expires on end of September. The seller has taken the car for oil change and service not to the dealer. My question is that is there some rule or something that owner has to do and does the regular check up and service at the dealer. I went to Volvo website and could not find anything. Does any one knows about CPO warranties? Any comment appreciated. Thanks.
