Which Systems Affect Fuel Economy?

Turbos, even LPT, need copper core spark plugs. I like the Volvo OEM because they last so long but are expensive.

Injectors get dirty IF the grade of gasoline doesn't contain any fuel system cleaners. There are no 'good' home cleaning methods, other than buying an additive for the tank, which is like snake oil to me. There are outfits that clean injectors by machine, test and grade spray, and send you the results for around $15US each - $75 for all 5. But that is a pain; no driving for a week and the injectors are usually pretty clean anyway.

As for re-sealing my turbo, I am not looking forward to removing it from the car. Besides, it will take me a couple of days - I'm slow - and there is no good place to park the car. All of the bolts look quite rusted...

So I drive it and am quite happy. Of course, if someone offered me $4200 for it, then I would have to drive one of my other cars :>)
