dealer is stumped - any ideas? 850 96

Well, my dealer spent the whole day working on my car, and has no idea what is wrong with it. Do you have an idea?

Here's the history: The alternator died three weeks ago. It was replaced, but the dashboard immediately started doing strange things. The low-fuel warning light stays on all of the time, as well as the service light. The fuel gage itself seems to work fine. The dealer (and another garage who I trust) cant get the lights to turn off.

The car functions fine otherwise. The only problem is that the lights wont go off. Any ideas?
