Thumping brakes 850

Hi again Klaus,

Today one of my mechanic friends said to stick with OEM parts because he
ran into alignment problems with some front end performance parts.
He thinks it's smart to stay with OEM stuff.

I'm still curious about the collective wisdom of the brickboard dudes as to
what to select for parts in the Strut/Shock and rotor department.

I'm convinced that the Chinese don't know how to make ball joints, and in spite
of being warned by another local mechanic I installed the FCP Chinese control arm,
and it failed after only a few months and mostly just around town driving and low mileage! I wonder what FCP will do when they understand that some of their product is junk?

Bill
