Hre is an update:

I pulled the OBD codes and found a 1-1-4 and 1-2-2. According to information on http://www.matthewsvolvosite.com, it appears that I have a "program selector open or short circuit" and "a solenoid S1 open circuit".

Since I have to run my crab traps for some Redfish bait early in the AM, I will probably not look into this any further until tuesday.
