What Brake pads? 850

For the longest wear and no squeals/problems go with Volvo OEM pads and rotors.

If the Volvo rotors are too expensive just use the Volvo OEM pads. BTW - About 1 1/2 years ago I replaced the Rear rotors and pads on my 95 with FCP Nordic rotors and Volvo OEM pads. No issues so far...

If I needed to do the front brakes I'd seriously consider doing all OEM brake parts. They may very well be worth the extra expense as they will last longer than anything I'm aware of. I got 90k on my 93 850's OEM rear pads/rotors and almost 100k on OEM front pads on my 240 and the rotors were still good.
