P0455 thrown and Check Engine Light on BUT.... V70-XC70

You can get the purge valve you need at a junkyard for <$10, the one from the 850 works for you too. Your profile says you're in Sykesville, I'm not far here in Ellicott City, and I might have one sitting around. If you want it, let me know and I'll look to see if I've still got it.

But I doubt that is the cause. I'd look in your trunk where the access holes are for the fuel filter for a small valve on that bracket. If I had to guess I'd say that hose had crapped out on you as well and is whats causing the problem now. If it looks good, you might want to try plugging the hoses where you can (ie a the purge valve and at that valve in the trunk) and blow on either one attached to the charcoal canister and see which has a hole in it. Then start searching!

Which canister do you have? Round or rectangular, and how many hoses come off of it?

If you're not driving it "like its stolen," are you really driving?
