94 850 turbo AC problums solved.

I haven't had AC for about a year now so I finally decided to fix it since the weather is all so hot here in S. Jersey. There was a terrible noise coming from the Alternator, Power steering, Compressor area so I removed it all. The idler pulley bearing was making noise as was the alternator. I replaced everything in that column. I changed the dryer also and charged the system. The compressor wouldn't turn on so jumped it to the battery. It came on then but blew out the relief valve because the fan failed to turn on. I then checked the plug at the pressostat near the firewall. There was no voltage. I checked the diagnostics for the AC unit and found many short circuits throughout the system. I figured that there can't be that many short circuits because there aren't any blown fuses. I removed the heater ECU, unplugged it and put it on the shelf. I ordered another one on E-Bay for $45.00. When it came in, it was for a manual heater/AC control. I didn't know that they made a manual control. I thought they were all electronic.I reinstalled my old ECU back in. The two lights blinked for about three minutes then the fan came on still no cool air. I checked the continuity of the pressostat switch and nothing. I took one off of my junker and installed it and finally super cool air.
The heater/AC ECU needed to be rebooted to clear the codes.
