On turbo cars, the O2 sensor connector is easier to get to from under the car but we do it using a hoist in our shop.

The 850s I see have a trunk light and it's possibly just turned off in your car? It's located under the center of the rear hat shelf area, in between the two rear speakers and has a switch.
