Recirc Pump problems 850 97

The "Check Engine" light has come on in my 850. Last time that happened, the recirculation pump had seized up. I'm gonna guess it's the same thing this time - apparently, it's a pretty common problem. I looked under the hood and could not see the recirc pump. I have not crawled underneath yet, because it's cold out there!

Does anyone know where I should look to find the recirc pump? I would like to remove & test it myself before paying someone $600 to replace it.

Thanks -
