Just wanted to share a resolved problem on my 1995 855T. I have struggled with a persistent 3-1-5 (Evap) code for quite a while and had gone through every connection and piece of rubber associated with that system without success. It was not affecting driveability but it is annoying to have a CEL always on. Finally decided to purchase an evap purge valve kit from FCP Groton and with 500+ miles on the car after the repair with no CEL I have declared success.
There is a nice write up and pictures of the kit and placement at:

The replacement was very straight forward and everything required was in the kit. I was changing all of the hoses in my intercooler system to SAMCO so it was nice to have the evap valve out in the open with no obstruction but this would not be necessary for replacement. There is a new line from the valve to the intake manifold and that was certainly necessary as my old line had to be cut off of its connection and turned into dust upon removal.
The kit appears to be an upgrade from the factory original in that it comes with a check valve and an electrical connection "jumper" due to the incompatible connection on the new valve.
Now on to the replacement of my leaking oil cooler lines......
