Ah yes. Very good point. Forgot that the XC doesn't have painted bumpers. My bad.

I agree about protecting the protective cover on the protective device. In my last pickup, I put down a foam pad in the bed to keep the bed protector from scratching the paint. I then put a non-skid mat on the bed protector to keep it from getting marred by the cargo. But maybe I'm revealing too much of myself...

Hey, at least my truck had a real bumper!
