Looking to Replace All My Seats 850 1995

Hi all,

I'm looking to replace all of my seats because they seem to have some factory defect that caused the cloth to separate at the seams. I've considered reupholstery but am concerned that SIPS will not function properly if it is not sewn correctly on the outer edges of the seats. It is also very costly. My second choice is replacement with some salvage seats but I'm having a very hard time finding tan cloth seats or even leather in decent condition.

I'm open to ideas or suggestions on any of this and where to find quality seats out there. I'm also considering using some V70 or S70 seats but have read that at some point in the late 90's Volvo stopped using "gas" powered SIPS and went to electrical. Is this true? If so, what year did that happen?

Thanks in advance,
