Re: top windshield rubber falling off 850 97

I did have that problem. I'm gathering that it's pretty common on the 850s. The problem is that the strip is held in by double-stick tape that doesn't hold. While it's just a cosmetic problem and shouldn't cause leaking or anything (the windshield itself should be sealed), it can cause some wind noise and just generally looks bad. My car was under a used car warranty so they sent a glass guy out to fix it. As I figured he would, he simply pulled the strip up a little bit and squirted some adhesive under it. It's been about a month and it appears to be holding up just fine. My personal advice would be to get some good adhesive, tape off the roof, and try reattaching it yourself. Good luck!
