Additional Information Request - Strut Shaft Retaining Nut - Removal Technicalites V70-XC70 1999

Klaus,

Unfourtunatly, there is no camber adjustment. Since no adjustment is possible, visiting an alignment shop would result in an unnessicary charge. It's a wonderful idea, but unfortunately it is just a fantasy. The shock absorber shaft has been kinked, and the only solution is replacement of the strut. Gas-charged Bilstein HDs are on order and will arrive Thursday/Friday. An independent shop has the strut bearings and spring seats on order and I will pick all three parts up on Friday and install them in Sears parking lot. After that, I'll score a 2 wheel alignment and head for Newport Beach.
